What is "MILANO SAKE CHALLENGE"?
"MILANO SAKE CHALLENGE" is a sake competition that has been held in Milan, Italy since 2019. The aim is to highlight the potential and appeal of pairing with Italian cuisine, and to let Italians, whose awareness of Japanese sake has been growing over the past few years, learn about its diversity and depth, as well as the Japanese culture and customs surrounding sake.
The competition will feature judging in three categories: sake tasting session by Italian Sake Sommeliers, food pairing session with Italian cuisine, and design session by designer and fashion experts.

- MILANO SAKE EXPERIENCE -
MILANO SAKE EXPERIENCE (formerly known as the Fuori Milano Sake Challenge) is a sake tasting event aimed to let as many Italians as possible familiarize with Japanese sake and deepening their knowledge. Among the sakes exhibited at MILANO SAKE CHALLENGE, unopened sakes (approved in advance by the sake breweries) will be opened to the public for tasting.
